RSS Feeds

You may want to use an RSS Feed Reader for journals or searches outside of EBSCO databases. PubMed can create an RSS feed, as can other databases and journals. These can help you compile search and publication alerts from several different sources in one place. Each individual tool should provide instructions for how to find and add an RSS feed.

What is RSS

"Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is the term used to refer to the collection of Web feed formats that provide updated or shared information in a standardized way. The information could be website or blog entries, news headlines, or audio or video files... RSS feeds benefit both publishers and subscribers because they syndicate work automatically in a format that can be easily accessed and viewed by different applications." - Techopedia
