CVTD430: Capstone I: ZoteroBib

This course guide has been created in support of the written case study assignment for CVTD430: Senior Capstone I.

Using ZoteroBib

ZoteroBib (https://zbib.org) is a free tool that can create citations and a bibliography instantly from any computer. You do not need to create an account or install any software!  ZoteroBib is ad-free and very easy to use! Scroll down to the "Cite anything" section; this will give you a quick overview about how ZoteroBib works.

1. Go to https://zbib.org to get started.

In the "Cite" bar, enter the URL for a website, the ISBN of a book, the DOI or PMID number of an article, or the title of an article. Using the DOI or PMID is usually more efficient. The PMID is a unique identified for citations in PubMed.

Click on the "Cite" button. Your bibliography will appear. Choose the citation style using the drop-down menu on the blue Bibliography bar.

NOTE: Make sure you review the Bibliography for accuracy.  With the APA format, you may need to do some minor editing with the article title (e.g. capitalization).

You can "Download RTF" to include the bibliography in a document.  You can also create a link to the bibliography.

See the ZoteroBib FAQ (https://zbib.org/faq) for more information.
